The Astros comeback fell short in game one against the Athletics. Houston now turns to David Paulino to get back in the win column.

Paulino comes into Wednesday's start on a two-game winning streak. Paulino has allowed four earned runs over 11 13 innings and struck out 10 while walking three.

Paulino’s most recent start was against the A’s on June 22. He allowed three runs over 5 13 innings in Oakland. Matt Joyce and Chad Pinder each had doubles against Paulino. Bruce Maxwell and Pinder each have two hits against Paulino.

The Astros blew up Jesse Hahn in his last outing, Houston scored 10 runs (nine earned) over two innings — tying the shortest outing for Hahn in 2017.
