AAA: Fresno Grizzlies (39-38) won 7-6 Boxscore
The Grizzlies suffered through a four run ninth inning bullpen explosion, but came back to win in extra innings.
On offense, Colin Moran hit his 17th home run of the season and went 3-5 on the night. Moran is hitting .324 over his last ten games with four home runs and twelve RBI. Tyler White also went 3-5, adding a walk and two RBI.
David Martinez pitched well but didn’t get a decision. He went six innings, allowing a run on six hits and a walk while striking out seven. Jordan Jankowski and Dayan Diaz combined to allow four runs in the top of the ninth before Brian Holmes closed out the game in the tenth.
AA: Corpus Christi Hooks: Off
A+: Buies Creek Astros (39-36) won 8-1 Boxscore
Buies Creek wiped out the Carolina Mudcats with a dominant hitting and pitching performance. Buies Creek pitchers allowed only four hits and struck out nine while the batters pounded 14 hits and drew four walks.
Starter Jorge Alcala set the tone, allowing only two hits and two walks in five scoreless innings, striking out four. Hector Perez finished the game, striking out five in four innings with one earned run.
Myles Straw had a strong night in the lead off spot, going 3-5 with a double, two runs scored and an RBI. Second baseman Ryne Birk went 2-5 with a triple and four RBI. Anibal Sierra went 3-3 with the only home run in the game.
A: Quad Cities River Bandits (40-33) won 8-2 Boxscore
The River Bandits scored early and often to defeat the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.
Quad Cities starter Cionel Perez went four and a third innings, allowing two earned runs while striking out seven. Abdiel Saldana picked up the win in relief with three and two thirds hitless scoreless innings, walking two and striking out six.
First baseman Troy Sieber led the offensive attack, going 3-4 with a double, a run scored and two RBI. DH Marcos Almonte went 2-5 with a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base.
A-: Tri-City ValleyCats (3-4) won 8-5 Boxscore

First baseman Connor MacDonal provided the power for the ValleyCats, going 2-4 with a double, home run and two RBI.
Ben Smith earned the win with one perfect relief inning where he struck out the side. Robert Corniel finished the game for a save, pitching two and two thirds innings with four strikeouts.
Rookie: Greeneville Astros (3-2) won 4-2 Boxscore
A sweep for the Astros affiliates! Greeneville took an early 4-0 lead and held on for victory over the Bristol Pirates.
Center field prospect Gilberto Celestino went 3-3 for Greeneville with a walk and run scored. Second baseman Juan Mauricio homered and scored twice.
Leovanny Rodriguez entered the game in relief and earned the win for Greeneville. He allowed two runs over five innings while striking out five.
