Derek Fisher has gotten the start in five games since he was called up to take place of Josh Reddick on the 25-man roster. He has shown off all five of his tool, batting .278 (5x18) with three runs scored, two home runs, and a stolen base.
But the Astros roster too deep even for a rookie. Houston has announced the team has optioned Fisher back to Triple-A Fresno and reinstate Josh Reddick from the seven-day concussion disabled list.
OF Josh Reddick will be reinstated from the 7-day DL tomorrow.

Reddick, 30, is batting .281 (59x210) with 6 home runs and 24 RBIs. He was put on the seven-day concussion disabled list retroactive to June 13 after crashing into a wall against Texas head first.
Fisher has shown he can hang in the Majors in his small sample size. At the every least, he's helped increase his value as a trade chip and/or push the pressure on Nori Aoki to hold down the final spot on the roster in the outfield.
