Another bites the dust. Another one’s gone. The Astros now have three starting pitchers on the disabled list — fourth one total in 2017.

Joe Musgrove has been put on the 10-day disabled list with what A.J. Hinch called shoulder discomfort — first reported by the Houston Chronicle's Jake Kaplan.

Recently called up David Paulino will start in Musgrove’s place on Wednesday in the series finale.

Musgrove joins Collin McHugh and charlie Morton on the disabled list. McHugh has been dealing with a dead arm since the start the season and Morton has strained lat.

Musgrove, 24, was 4-4 with a 4.89 ERA in 10 starts after making the opening day roster for the first time in his career.

The Astros optioned Jordan Jankowski to make room for Paulino and now the Astros have another spot for a reliever — which team has yet to announce. Paulino will make his first appearance in the majors in 2017 at opening the season with a bone bruise.
