Honor Memorial Day

A short word from TCB staff on this day of remembrance on Memorial Day.

When I started to write this post, I wanted to use the term “Happy Memorial Day.” But that term has never felt right. Memorial Day is a day to remember those were lost in the name of freedom. Happy doesn’t seem like the proper word, honor felt right.

So let us honor those who have “laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom*". We have the utmost graduate and respect for the friends and loved ones that have paid the ultimate sacrifice.

The sacrifices made allow for something as trivial as a blog named The Crawfish Boxes to exist and the time to enjoy a child’s game at a professional for all year round.

So enjoy your day with your family, watch baseball and grill barbeque. From all of us at The Crawfish Boxes, please accept our wholehearted attempt at admiration.
