Dallas Keuchel was masterful. Carlos Correa continued to dominate the Yankees. But the Astros player of the game belt didn't go to either of them. It was firmly placed around the waist of one, Jake Marsinick.

The Astros entered ninth inning, Houston led 3-1 over the Yankees with closer Ken Giles on the mound. Giles allowed a pair of single to put runners on the corners and Jacoby Ellsbury stole second to put the game-tying run in scoring position.

Gary Sanchez smacked a single to left field that was fielded by Marisnick, who fired the ball home to Brian McCann. The frame was right on target, beating Ellsbury to the plate. Ellsbury attempted to dive to the front of the plate, but McCann didn’t give a lane to the plate — tagging out the runner to end the game.
