Preview
The Astros look to keep their strong start going to open a three game series against the Indians in Cleveland. Houston comes into the game tied with Washington and Baltimore for second in MLB wins, behind Colorado who has 14.
Houston heads to Progressive Field a bit banged up - George Springer will be on the bench (listed day-to-day) with a hamstring injury he picked up in the Tampa series. Jake Marisnick went through formal concussion protocol and has been placed on the 7-day DL.. Teoscar Hernandez was called up from Fresno and is on the bench today.
Cleveland enters the series tied atop a tight AL Central with Detroit at 10-8. The Indians are receiving solid production out of Francisco Lindor, who is turning into one of the top two-way players in the league (1.1 WAR) as well as Jose Ramirez and a healthy Michael Brantley. Fangraphs gives the Astros a 53% chance to win tonight.
