MLB Network’s 30 Clubs in 30 Days program focuses on the Astros

MLB Network joins the Astros in West Palm Beach.

It is that time again, the Astros get their turn on the center stage of MLB Network. MLBN had its annual 30 Clubs in 30 Days tour make a stop in West Palm Beatch earlier this week.

Astros manager A.J. Hinch opened up about the team’s pitching rotation:

“The starting pitchers are the tone-setters of the day. When we’re right, we’re rolling out a good starting pitcher every night. We haven’t had a full rotation intact for over a year now. Dallas [Keuchel] sets the tone at the top. The Cy Young version of him is excellent. Last year he battled through a lot of different things, mostly the execution, a little bit of fatigue and injury. When he’s right, we’re right. …Our rotation needs to set the tone, hand the ball to a really effective bullpen. Keeping them intact as a rotation and having them work as a functional unit is very key.”
