New TCB writer: painting_the_corners404

Hello TCB readers!

My name is Patrick Brennan, where as you may know me as painting_the_corners404 in the comments section.

As for about myself, I am from Kansas City, born and raised. And yes, that does mean I am a Royals fan (Sorry about 2015...). My love for the great sport of baseball can be traced backed to my early youth. Since I was a kid, I loved playing and watching baseball. This was amazing in the sense that I had to grow watching the AL dweller Royals every single year, though that has recently paid off.

After I grew a true love for the game, all I wanted to do was expand my knowledge on the sport. Anything that relates to baseball, I will eat it up. Prospects, sabermetrics, fantasy, contracts. Anything. My deep passion for the game has caused me to recently take my thoughts to a blog.

You may have seen some of my recent work on a fan post regarding Chris Devenski. As you may have noticed, I love using statistical data to back up my claims, something Astros fans are probably familiar with.

Anyhow, I love the opportunity I am getting. Getting a chance to help cover such an exciting team like the Astros is the perfect gig for me, you guys truly have such a great team. If you have any suggestions or questions for me, hit me up in the comments section, I always reply.
