Photo Gallery: Astros return to the field

Pitchers and catchers have reported to West Palm Beach and the remaining members of the roster report on Friday. The wheels of preparation have started to propel the Astros toward the 2017 season.

To hold Astros fans over till baseball games start on later this month, we have visual aids from the practice field. We get to see catcher Brian McCann and Charlie Morton in an Astros uniform for the first time.

The pitchers and catchers started going through the motions, doing fielding practice.

Side note: The Spring Training uniforms have some positives and negatives. The Grapefruit League shields on the hat and jersey are nice and the baby blue fits with the Astros. But the all-white numbers on the back of the uniform doesn’t just work.

Another side note: The new practice field looks great. Now, all we need is to see the Nationals and Astros play at the new stadium.
