The Houston Astros start in the Game 7 of the 2017 World Series would have been more perfect. The Astros push across two runs in the first inning. But it got better in the second inning.
After scoring a run with one out. George Springer stepped to the plate with one runner on. Springer worked a 3-2 count and got a 96 MPH fastball down the middle from former Ranger, now Dodger Yu Darvish.
Springer crushed the pitch for his fifth home run in the World Series. It was a no doubter to left-center field. Springer knew he got all of it right off the bat.
Springer home runs have made history:
George Springer is the first player to homer in four consecutive games in a World Series.

Springer has become the first player to hit home runs in four straight games. #SpringerDinger for life.
