World Series 2017: Lance McCullers to start Game 7, gets started preparing right away

Lance McCullers is always ready.

The Houston Astros and Los Angeles Dodgers enter Game 7 of the World Series. After 179 games for the Astros, the season will come down to one game.

The Game 7 starters have been announced RHP Lance McCullers Jr. goes for Houston and RHP Yu Darvish will start for the Dodgers.

RHP Lance McCullers Jr. (1-0, 2.95, 1.04 WHIP, .209 BABIP, 4.15 xFIP in the playoffs) vs. RHP Yu Darvish (2-1, 4.15 ERA, 1.23 WHIP, .314 BABIP, 3.47 xFIP in the playoffs)

Of course, Lance McCullers Jr. is a man always happy to go the extra mile for the Astros. McCullers didn’t even wait until the stadium cleared out start working for Game 7, he started throwing in the outfield while the postgame broadcast was still rolling.

If that doesn’t get you ready for Game 7, I don’t know what will.
