After getting BABIP'd to death in game three of the American League Championship Series versus the Yankees, Astros starter Charlie Morton rebounded with five shutout innings in game seven, dominating New York. The right-hander held the Yankees to two hits in five innings, allowing no runs to score while striking out five and walking only one.
Dodgers' starter Alex Wood last pitched ten days ago during Game 4 of the NLCS, allowing three runs in 4-2/3 innings against the cubs. During that start, he struck out seven, but allowed three solo home runs.
During this series, the Astros have outscored the Dodgers by 13 runs to 12, but the Astros have almost twice the number of hits, with 29 compared to the Dodgers' 15.
