Game 2 of the 2017 World Series was extraordinary, breath-taking, historic, and many other distractive terms that don’t frankly do the game justice.
But in the end, the Astros won 7-6 in 11 innings on the road at Dodgers Stadium. Words that still don’t really seem real strung together.
Marwin Gonzalez hit a game-tying home run off the Dodgers lights-out closer, Kenley Jansen. Jose Altuve and Carlos Correa went back-to-back in the 10th to take a two-run lead.
After giving up the lead, George Springer connected for a two-run home run for the win.
There is nothing better then seeing them all back-to-back on video if only to skip the whole Ken Giles part of the game.
