Marwin Gonzalez is the Houston Astros’ Swiss Army knife. He is the Astros’ not-so-secret secret weapon. He can do it all for Houston, he has played every position on the infield. He led the team in RBIs in 2017 and been able to hold his own in the outfield.
Did I mention he did all the heroics last night with wife labor?

Gonzalez cut down Greg Bird at the plate in game of the 2017 ALCS in the in the fifth inning. Aaron Judge singled to left field directly to Gonzalez. He came up throwing with Bird rounding third. Gonzalez had a perfect throw that arrived to Brian McCann on one hop. McCann applied the tag for the out and the Astros held their 2-0 lead.
