The Houston Astros have made too many dramatic changes to their lineups during the 2017 playoffs. The key decisions for Astros manager A.J. Hinch was where to put Josh Reddick and Alex Bregman, and who will start at designated hitter?
Hinch went with Josh Reddick at No. 2 and Carlos Beltran at DH. Beltran, the former Yankee, is 2-for-2 with a double in two career at-bats against Masahiro Tanaka. Josh Reddick is 1-for-4 with a home run and Bregman is 1-for-2 with a home run.
There doesn’t appear to be a wrong answer for Hinch.
Matt Holliday is at DH for the Yankees and Aaron Judge is batting second lineup. Judge is setting the table for the Bronx Bombers with a .125 batting average with 16 strikeouts.
