The Houston Astros gifted the Chicago Cubs an all-star....oh sorry. There have been some any stories about Kris Bryant and the Astros that I’ve been overtaken by hot takes. I need a moment to recoup and post the recap. Enjoy this video for a moment:

The Astros are 2.5 games back in the AL Wild Card standings after splitting a four-games with the Indians. Houston faces a team nearly 40 games over .500 and looking to clinch the NL Central video.

Houston sends out rookie Joe Musgrove to set the tone for the Astros. Musgrove has been up and down in his last two starts, allowing five runs over 4 13 innings against the Rangers on Sept. 3 and 5 13 scoreless innings against the A’s on Aug. 29.

Musgrove is 1-0 with a 0.54 ERA in three games (two starts) at Minute Maid Park. Musgrove is countered by veteran Jon Lester.

Lester is 3-0 with 1.71 ERA in five starts in August, he followed up with a complete game, one-run outing against the Giants on Sept. 2.

Lest is 0-0 with 10.80 ERA in one career start against the Astros and at Minute Maid Park.

Current Astros are batting .300 (6x20) against Lester with a .429 BABIP, 0.34 FIP, 30.0 K% and a 0.0 BB%.
