Rangers 12, Astros 4: Hello darkness, my old friend

Same teams, same outcome.

I write this recap in a dark corner of my home with this on loop.

The Rangers routed the Astros again in Arlington, this time, the score was 12-4.

Joe Musgrove gave up five runs on eight hits and two walks. He struck out three and gave up two home runs. Will Harris and Jandel Gustave combined for a scoreless inning in relief. The other three Houston relievers surrendered runs to the Rangers, low-lighted by Brady Rodgers first appearance -- five earned runs on five hits over 2/3 of an inning.

The Astros were 3-for-10 with runners in scoring position and left eight runners on base. Evan Gattis and Jake Marisnick each hit a home run and had good overall days at the plate — Gattis went 3-for-4 and Marisnick 2-for-4.

On top of the lopsided score, Jose Altuve was gingerly off the field after a game-ending double play. So the will to watch Astros baseball has been sucked right out of me once again.
