The Houston Astros have pushed starter Dallas Keuchel back to Tuesday for his next start in Cleveland against the Indians — as first reported by the Houston Chronicle’s Angel Verdejo Jr.
Keuchel being pushed back in rotation and will start Tues vs #Indians. Not responding as #Astros would like and giving him extra days rest.

Keuchel was intentionally scheduled to Friday then was listed as the probable starter for Saturday’s game as late as Friday afternoon. Doug Fister started on Friday for Houston and Joe Musgrove will start on Saturday followed by Collin McHugh.
Mike Fiers will start in game one against the Indians followed by Keuchel.
Keuchel will pitch on nine days rest on Tuesday. In his career, Keuchel is 7-7 with 4.35 ERA in 22 starts with 6-plus days of rest.
Keuchel has had a heavy workload as the Astros’ de facto ace for the past few season. He had pitched 432 innings coming into the 2016 season and has already posted 168 innings this season.
Keuchel is 3-1 with a 3.10 ERA in four starts during August for the Astros.
