Remembering broadcaster Bill Brown’s time with the Astros

Will miss you Brownie.

MLB: Detroit Tigers at Houston Astros Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

Longtime Astros television broadcaster Bill Brown’s final game is Wednesday as the Astros take on the Mariners. Brown has been with the team for 30 years and has seen it all for the Astros.

He has called two no-hitters, seven postseason seasons, and numerous historic events.

There is no better way to remember him then to go through some of his greatest games through the magic of YouTube.

Bill Brown has been a staple of Houston sports media before I was even born. It will be strange to think I’ll be hearing a new voice when Spring Training comes around next season.
