Alex Bregman ties game with pinch-hit single; returns to lineup Wednesday

Oh my god...is that Bregman’s music?

One of the final nails in the Astros 2016 coffin was when rookie Alex Bregman left the final game against the Rangers earlier in the month of September. Bregman had injured his hamstring and was projected to miss the remainder of the regular season.

But like an old-school WWE entrance, Bregman came out of nowhere to pinch hit for Jason Castro in the sixth inning with the Astros trailing 4-3.

Like that raising comet that he is, Bregman laced a single to left to tie the game at 4-4.

The only thing missing was a call from Jim Ross.

The Astros rookie is the Astros starting lineup for Wednesday game. Bregman has three more games to pull the Astros from the death and into playoffs. Well, that may be too much of a task to put on Bregman.

But the Astros have a better chance to win their final games with Bregman in the lineup.
