The Astros have one more game against the Texas Rangers. The Rangers have one more game to twist the knife a little deeper, or the Astros have one more game to try to be perfect for a chance at the final AL Wild Card spot.

Joe Musgrove starts for the Astros and he is 0-2 with 6.10 ERA in his two Sept. starts thus far. He posted a quality start (6 IP, 2 ER) in his most recent start, Sept. 9 against the Cubs.

Musgrove is 0-1 with a 4.76 ERA in two career starts against the Rangers in his rookie season. Current Rangers are batting .302 (13x43) against Musgrove with a .333 BABIP, 4.80 FIP, 17.8 K% and a 4.4 BB%.

Derek Holland steps in for Yu Darvish after Holland was skipped the Rangers rotation in his last start. Holland is 2-2 with a 3.22 ERA since returning from the 60-day DL list on Aug. 23.

Holland is 5-2 with a 4.19 ERA in 12 career starts against the Astros. Current Astros are batting .314 (37x118) against Holland with .310 BABIP, 6.01 FIP, 10.1 K%, and a 6.2 BB%.
