UPDATED: Astros fan keeps it 100 after devasting loss to Rangers

The Houston Astros have found every which way to lose to the Texas Rangers over the past two seasons. The Astros are 9-28 against the Rangers over the past two season including eight one-run losses in 2016.

But Tuesday’s night loss took the cake. The Astros were up 2-1 going into the top of the ninth inning to have Texas storm back with two runs. The Astros recorded three outs but Rougned Odor reaching on a dropped strike three, stole second and scored on a triple.

So it’s not hard to understand when a (we assume an inebriated) fan’s emotions boiled over with frustration. A fan was videoed being led out of the stands in handcuffs behind the Rangers dugout at Minute Maid Park following the comeback, yelling “Fuck the Rangers!" and "Fuck you, Rangers motherfuckers!”

Now, TCB doesn’t condone the actions of the gentleman but we understand his pain.

TCBer cvdoug notes this actually took place at Monday’s game. Which I admit takes some of the poetry out of the event but Monday’s loss stung too. Cvdoug is also correct that, hopefully, this guy got some time in a cell to think about making a scene at a family event.
