Kris Bryant made the Astros pay for not selecting him with the 2013 MLB Draft on Friday night in the Cubs 2-0 win over the Astros. Or he just hit a home run like he has done 36 times before in 2016.

The two-run home run was the only runs scored as Jon Lester and Joe Musgrove both posted solid starts. Lester held the Astros scoreless over seven innings, scattering seven hits and striking out seven. Musgrove allowed the two runs on three hits over six innings.

The Astros were 0-for-5 with runners in scoring position. Alex Bregman ran into an out at third after stealing second in the fourth inning. Teoscar Hernandez opened the sixth with a double but was left stranded. The Astros had runners on third with Colby Rasmus at the plate in the seventh but Rasmus struck out to end the inning,
