The Houston Astros have had a clear plan since general manager Jeff Luhnow took over the Houston Astros. That plan was called "The Process" and the main crux was to build within and fill in where need be. Luhnow had has one major deviation from that plan thus far, Cuban infielder Yulieski Gurriel.
Gurriel, 32, signed with the Astros for five-year, $47.5 million deal and could be making his major league debut on Tuesday against the St. Louis Cardinals.
Yulieski Gurriel scheduled to play in Corpus Christi tonight, tomorrow and maybe Sunday. Tuesday still the Astros' target for his ML debut.
