The Astros were one of the healthiest teams in Major League Baseball through the first half of the season. That is no longer the case, the Astros have been hit hard by the injury bug over the past few weeks.
Preston Tucker has been added to the 15-Day disabled list on Friday and outfielder Teoscar Hernandez has been called up to replace Tucker on the roster.

Tucker, 26, is batting .164 (22x134) with four home runs and eight RBIs in 48 games with the Astros in 2016. Tucker batted .301 (63x209) with eight home runs and 29 RBIs in 53 games with Triple-A Fresno.
Colby Rasmus was placed on the disabled list on August 7 with a cyst in his right ear. Rasmus has had surgery on said cyst and will be on the shelf until September, per Root Sports' Julia Morales.
