Preview

The Astros enjoyed a stellar performance from Lance McCullers in game one against the Angels. The Astros will need another stellar performance in hopes of upending crafty Angels starting pitcher Jered Weaver.

McCugh comes in on a high. He is 1-1 with a 2.41 ERA in his last six starts. McHugh is coming off a scoreless six innings against the Mariners on July 17, he struck out 10 in the start.

The right-hander is making his third start against the Halos, he made back-to-back starts against the Halos on June 21 and 27 -- he allowed four runs over 13 innings in those two starts. McHugh is 4-2 with a 2.84 ERA in nine career starts against the Angels.

Current Angels are batting .270 (31x115) against McHugh with a .322 BABIP, 3.66 FIP, 19.8 K%, and a 6.3 BB%.
