Triple A: Fresno was off, but the Bregman Game, I mean Futures Game took place.
Alex Bregman made his presence known to anyone who maybe did not already know. He and Joe Musgrove played for Team USA in the MLB Future's game in San Diego. I'll let Twitter take over about Bregman.
Just asked a scout what stood out most to him at the Futures Game. His response: "Bregman is ready."

Mr. Luhnow. I know you know more than I do, but please just call him up already.
Double A: Corpus Christi (56-31) falls to Tulsa (47-39), 7-6
Chase McDonald had a couple of hit and Jack Mayfield hit a 3-run bomb, but the Hooks couldn't catch the Drillers. Garrett Stubbs walked and struck out.
Edison Frias got some strikeouts, but couldn't keep people off the base paths.

Class A Advanced: Lancaster (45-42) squeaks by Inland Empire, 17-0
Yes, that title is sarcasm. What I will not be sarcastic about is Jason Martin. He hit another homer. He's 20 years old. His home road split aren't horrific either. His home ISO is a silly .307, but his road ISO is still a great .227. There's no need to rush him, but I am getting really excited to see what he will do at Double A.
Bryan Muniz had 4 singles. Antonio Nunez had 3 hits including 2 doubles, Ramon Laureano had 2 hits. Brooks Marlow had 6 RBIs! It was a party offensively for Lancaster.
Akeem Bostick (thanks Texas, hope you enjoyed Carlos Corporan) was wild but effective. He struck out 6, walked 4, but only gave up 1 hit. He threw 99 pitches.

Class A: Quad Cities (40-47) beat down by Clinton (53-35), 12-5
Hector Roa was a homer short of the cycle. Pat Porter hit a triple, but it wasn't enough to overcome the shoddy relief effort. Elieser Hernandez had a great start. He struck out 8 over 5 and allowed no runs. The Venezuelan righty has really pitched well since he was demoted from Lancaster. His WHIP is down at 1.13 and he's struck out 38 in 32.2 innings.

Stephen Wrenn didn't homer. He leads the NY-Penn League with 8. Spencer Johnson did homer. It was his second of the year. Ryne Birk got a single and walked. He's off to a nice start walking more than he's struck out so far and slashing .339/.444/.525.
Austin Nicely started the game and gave up 3 runs. Kevin Hill pitched well in relief.

He was 2 for 4 in this game and is slashing .529/.590/.676 over 10 games. He's a 19 year old right handed 3rd baseman out of the Dominican Republic. Bryan Abreu struck out 5 over 4 innings.
