MLB Draft 2016: Time, TV schedule, live stream, draft order, and Houston Astros picks

It's draft time again and the Astros aren't drafting in top five this year.

It's the most wonderful time of the year, or at least it has been for the Houston Astros and general manager Jeff Luhnow. The Astros have drafted in the top five the last four season. Houston has been able to build the bedrock for success through the draft. In 2012, the Astros draft Carlos Correa first overall -- he turned into the 2015 AL Rookie of the Year. In 2013, Houston selected Mark Appel --  he turned into the closer of the future, Ken Giles. In 2014, the Astros drafted Brady Aiken -- which turned into Alex Bregman at the No. 2 pick in 2015. IN 2015, the Astros also selected Kyle Tucker and Daz Cameron in the first round.

The Astros currently have nine players on the 25-man roster through the draft and six players on the roster through trades of prospects from the draft. Four players have are currently on the Major League roster from Jeff Luhnow's draft classes: Carlos Correa, Lance McCullers, Tony Kemp, and Tyler White.

The 2016 MLB Draft brings new challenges for the Astros as the team doesn't have any competition picks -- competitions picks are given to teams that lost veterans in free agency. The team is also drafting the lowest they have ever had at No. 17 and drafting with a smaller pool of money -- the draft money pool is set by the slot values for each pick and the more picks you have, the more money you get.

TCB will be covering the draft from every angle. Here is how to follow along:
