The Houston Astros will be well presented on Team U.S.A. during the 2016 SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game during the All-Star Game festivities on Sunday, July 10 at Petco Park in San Diego. Infielder Alex Bregman and right-hander Joe Musgrove were named to Team U.S.A. today by Major League Baseball.

Bregman, 22, was the second overall pick in the 2015 Draft. Bregman has spent all of 2016 in Double-A Corpus Christi, he will be moved up to Triple-A after the 2016 Texas League All-Star game on Tuesday. He has posted a .297 (70x236) with 14 home runs and 46 RBIs.
Musgrove, 23, a 2011 compensation pick by the Blue Jays was acquired by the Astros in the Brandon Lyon trade in 2012. He started the season in Double-A, he was 2-1 with a 0.34 ERA and 30 strikeouts in 2 1/3 innings.
Musgrove was called up to Triple-A on May 13, he has a 3-3 record with a 4.73 ERA in seven starts.
