McCullers is dealing with a blister on his right index finger, Astros manager A.J. Hinch announced Monday. McCullers could start during the weekend series against the Chicago White Sox or be pushed back to the Monday opener against the Seattle Mariners.
Feldman, 33, is making his first start since April 24 after opening the season in the Astros rotation. Feldman was 0-2 with a 4.58 ERA in four starts before being replaced by Chris Devenski. Feldman found a more effective role out of the bullpen, he is 4-1 with a 1.85 ERA in 16 games.
