The Houston Astros were dead in the water until the bottom of the ninth inning. The Astros trailed 2-1 with veteran closer Huston Street on the mound for the Los Angeles Angels. Street walked George Springer and Marwin Gonzalez walked to open the frame. Jose Altuve ripped a hot shot off Yunel Escobar glove that allowed all three runs to be safe.

The table was set for Carlos Correa. The reigning 2015 AL Rookie of the Year was as cool as the other side of the pillow. Correa delivered a single (should have been called a double) to score the game-tying run and game-winning run to right center. Correa went down and got a 3-1 sinker from Street.

The Astros mobbed Correa in short right field. It was already Carlos Correa's four game-winning hit in his career. The win put the Astros back at .500 with a 36-36 record. The Astros look the series sweep over the Angels on Thursday.
