Gregerson was placed on the Family Medical Emergency list on Tuesday as when the team called up infielder Danny Worth. Worth played in both of the team's game in St. Louis at third base.
White's playing time had progressively diminished as the rookie struggled at the plate. White started strong as he was named Amercian League Player of the Week after batted .556 (10x18) with three runs scored, three home runs, nine RBIs, .591 OBP, and a 1.758 OPS during the first week of the season.
Teams adjusted to White and he batted .250 (19x76) with four RBIs during the month of May. He was batting .186 (16x86) with two home runs and six RBIs in his last 30 games.
The Astros bullpen is now back to full strength, but Gregerson's closer role may have been handed over to Will Harris. Harris finished with two saves aginst the Cardinals.
