The Houston Astros announced good news and bad news on Friday. Good news, Tony Sipp is expecting his second child. Bad news, Tony Sipp is the only lefty option in the bullpen. The team recalled right-hander Michael Feliz replace Sipp on the 25-man roster, and placed Sipp on the paternity list.

Sipp, 32, is 0-1 wth a 4.66 ERA in and a 1.55 WHIP in 13 games. Interesting the team didn't call up Kevin Chapman, who is on the 40-man roster and a lefty. Chapman, 28, has struggled in Triple-A in 2016, he is 1-1 with a 7.59 ERA in 10 2/3 innings.
Feliz, 22, is already on his third sent with the Astros this season. The right-hander made the opening day roster as the Astros' long man. But was sent down for Chris Devenski after a long outing (4 1/3 IP) against the Yankees. Feliz hasn't allowed a run over even a hit over his last eight major innings.
