The Houston Astros will have to wait another turn to try to get their first four-game winning streak of 2016. The team had their first three-game winning streak broken by the Angels on Friday -- more specifically Mike Trout and Albert Pujols. Somehow Mike Fiers wasn't able to pitch around the two.
It's now Dallas Keuchel's turn to get the Astros back into the win column. A place the 2015 AL CY Young award winner hasn't gone often this season.
Kuechel has struggled all season. he is 0-3 with a 7.58 ERA in five May starts. Keuchel is getting an extra day of rest before his Saturday start. He is 15-16 with a 3.68 ERA on five days rest.
Keuchel is 7-2 with a 3.86 ERA in 12 appearances (11 starts) in his career against the Angels. He is 4-1 with a 3.65 ERA in seven career starts at Angels Stadium.
Current Angels are batting .259 (30x116) against Keuchel with a .333 BABIP, 3.38 FIP, 23.3 K%, and a 10.1 BB%.
