Preview
The Houston Astros haven't had much luck in one-run games. As a matter of fact before Tuesday, the team was 4-10 in one-run games. The team hopes to roll with the momentum of Tuesday's extra-innings 3-2 win over the Orioles.
The Astros will turn to Collin McHugh in hopes of picked up a second win in a row after dropping four straight coming into the series with Baltimore.
Like most of the Astros staff, McHugh has found somewhat of a groove in May after a dismal may. McHugh is 2-1 with 3.86 ERA in May after a 2-3 start in April with a 6.65 ERA.
McHugh has gone seven innings in two his last three starts. He allowed seven runs over his last 20 innings. McHugh is 1-0 with a 4.66 ERA in three career starts against Baltimore.
Current Orioles are batting .234 (11x47) against McHugh with a .235 BABIP, 5.03 FIP, 20.8 K%, and a 2.1 BB%.
