Class A Advanced: Lancaster JetHawks (8-13) lose to Lake Elsinore (11-13), 2-3
Nick Tanielu started the comeback attempt in the 8th by singling in 2 runs, but the JetHawks ended up short. Tanielu was 2 for 3 with a walk on the day. He’s been a sneaky good player his entire minor league career. His career slash line is .306/.355/.438 in 192 games. He’s enjoying a nice Lancaster bump so far with his slugging clocking in at .500 this year. He’s played 151 games at 3rd in his career and 25 games at 2nd. He’s just over 23 years old, which makes him about 6 months older than average for the Cal League. You can’t help but wonder who the next Tyler White is going to be… Nick is a great candidate.
