The Astros take on the Phillies for the first Spring Training game of the 2016 season.  WOO HOO!

The game begins at 12:05 and may be watched on MLB.TV or listened to on KBME Houston, SportsTalk 790 AM.

The Astros trot righty free agent Doug Fister to the mound for his first start in an Astros uniform.  The Phillies counter with right-hander David Buchanan.

The Astros regulars who were lineup mainstays during the 2015 season are likely to only play a couple innings, while players vying for a 40-man roster spot (White, Worth) or competing for a full-time role (Singleton, Duffy, Stassi) may get a longer look this afternoon.

The Astros currently are tied for first place in Grapefruit League play, with zero losses.  The Phillies are in last place, with zero wins.
