Major League Baseball is continuing to attempt to grow the game of baseball as part of that movement the Houston Astros and San Diego Padres are playing two game in Mexico City as part of the 'Mexico City Series;.
When: The Astros and Padres will a game on Saturday at 7 p.m. CST and Sunday at 1 p.m. CST.
Where: The games will be played at Estadio de Beisbol 'Fray Nano'. The stadium was built in 2014 and is home to the Mexican Baseball League's Baseball Club Diablos Rojos del Mexico -- the team that Japhet Amador played on before joining the Japan League.
Who: The Astros roster will include Jose Altuve, Carlos Correa, Marwin Gonzalez, Will Harris, Jake Marisnick and Preston Tucker. Among the minor leaguers on the trip for the Astros are outfielder Leo Heras, a native of Tijuana, Mexico, and right-handed pitcher Jose L. Hernandez, a native of Mazatlan, Mexico.
Minor League pitchers Chris Devenski and Brady Rodgers will start on the mound for the Astros.
A.J. Hinch will manage the club in Mexico.
