Astros 7, Braves 6: Altuve, Rasmus drive in five

Two Astros regulars drive offensive in win over Braves.

The Houston Astros had a Sunday matinee game with the Atlanta Braves, winning 7-6. Houston was led by Colby Rasmus and Jose Altuve on offense, who combined to drive in five runs.

The pitching wasn't a bright point for the Astros. Starter Doug Fister gave up three runs over three innings on six hits. Josh Field gave up a run in 2/3 of innings. Wandy Rodriguez gave up one run over three innings.

Rasmus got the first run on the board after Altuve (double) and George Springer (single) led off the game with hits. The base were eventually loaded for Tyler White in the first. Braves starter Matt Wisler got out of the jam with comebacker from White.

Adonis Garcia touch up Fister for a two run home run as part of the three-run inning in the second for the Braves.

The Braves added to their lead with a double from Ender Inciarte off Fields, scoring Hector Olivera.

The Astros scored six runs in fourth highlighted by a three-run home run from Jose Altuve.

The Braves tightened the game with runs in the seventh and eighth innings.
