TCB Astros Top 30 Prospects Podcast: No. 10 - 1 prospects

Ryan, Subber10, and CRPerry13 reveal the final 10 prospects on the 2016 TCB Top 30 Astros Prospects list in part three of the podcast.

In our second part, Subber10, CRPerry13 and myself introduced numbers 20-11 on our Top 30 Astros prospects list including No. 20 Aaron West, No. 19 Akeem Bostick, No. 18 Miguelangel Sierra, No. 17 Tyler Heineman, No. 16 Jon Kemmer, No. 15 Brendan McCurry, No. 14 J.D. Davis, No. 13 Jason Martin, No. 12 Tony Kemp, No. 11 David Paulino. The first two parts down, the TCB Staff turns down the home stretch with our top 10.

10. Derek Fisher, OF -- B- (5.600)

Derek Fister was drafted by the Astros in compensation round in the 2014 Draft out of Virginia. The team rested Fisher in 2014 and he played Single A Lancaster and Quadi Cities in 2015. He batted .275, (136x495) with 106 runs scored, 21 doubles, 8 triples, 22 home runs, 87 RBIs, 66 walks, 31 stolen bases, .364 on-base percentage, and .483 slugging percentage in 123 games in the minors.

9. Tyler White, 3B -- B- (5.850)

Tyler White was selected in the 33 round of the 2013 MLB Draft out of Western Carolina. White spent 2015 with Double A Corpus Christi and Triple A Fresno, he batted .325 (131x403) with 70 runs scored, 25 doubles, 14 home runs, 99 RBIs, 84 walks, .442 on-base percentage, and .496 slugging in 116 minor league games.

8. Daz Cameron, OF -- B (6.250)

Daz Cameron was arguably the steal of the 2015 Draft as he fell to the compensation round. Cameron batted .251 (44x175) with 34 runs scored, four doubles, three triples, 25 walks, 24 stolen bases, .353 on-base percentage, and .309 slugging percentage in 51 minor league games between the Gulf Coast League and Rookie ball Greeneville.

7. Colin Moran, 3B -- B (6.250)

Colin Moran was included in the Jarred Cosart trade with the Miami Marlins in 2014. Moran was selected by Miami with the six-overall pick in the 2013 Draft. Moran, 23, batted .306 (112x366) with 47 runs scored, 25 doubles, nine home runs, 67 RBIs, 43 walks, .381 on-base percentage, and .459 slugging percentage in 96 games with Double A Corpus Christi.

6. Michael Feliz, RHP -- B (6.300)

Michael Feliz was an international free agent from the Dominican Republic. Feliz, 22, spent time with Double A Corpus Christi and Single A Lancaster with a 7-4 record and a 2.83 ERA in 23 games (17 starts). He had 103 strikeouts, 32 walks, 1.02 WHIP in 111 1/3 innings. Feliz appeared in five games with the major league club, allowing seven runs over eight innings.

5. Kyle Tucker, OF -- B (6.600)

Kyle Tucker was selected in the first round of 2015 MLB Draft by the Houston Astros. Tucker split time with Gulf Coast League and Rookie Ball Greenville, batting. 246 (57x232) with 12 doubles, two triples, three home runs, 33 RBIs, .294 on-base percentage, and.353 slugging in 63 games.

4. Joe Musgrove, RHP -- B (6.850)

Joe Musgrove as apart of the J.A. Happ trade with the Toronto Blue Jays in 2012. Musgrove was selected in the compensation round of the 2011 by the Blue Jays. Musgrove made stops in Double A Corpus Christi, Single A Lancaster, and Single A Quad Cities in 2015. He had a 12-1 record with a 1.88 ERA, 99 strikeouts and eight walks in 19 games (14 starts).

3. Francis Martes, RHP -- B+ (7.150)

Francis Martes was included in the Jarred Cosart trade with the Miami Marlins in 2014. Martes was an international signing out the Dominican Republic in 2013 by the Marlins. He played for Double A Corpus Christi, Single A Lancaster, and Single A Quad Cities in 2015 -- posting a 8-3 record with a 2.04 ERA, 98 strikeouts, 28 walks, and 1.09 WHIP in 19 games (16 starts).

2. Alex Bregman, SS -- B+ (7.350)

Alex Bregman was the second-overall pick in the 2015 MLB Draft out of LSU by the Astros. Bregman, 21, batted .294 (80x272) with 37 runs scored, 13 doubles, four triples, four home runs, 34 RBIs in 66 games with Single A Lancaster and Quad Cities.

1. A.J. Reed, 1B -- B+ (7.800)

A.J. Reed was second round pick by the Astros in the 2014 Draft. Reed batted .340 (178x523) with 113 runs, 30 doubles, five triples, 34 home runs, 127 RBIs in 135 games with Single A Lancaster and Double A Corpus Christi in 2015.
