Astros pack up for Truck Day; head to Spring Training

The Astros are one step closer to the 2016 season.

Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

Today is a day that only a baseball fan can love, Truck Day. The day that the Houston Astros pack up their equipment, workout gear and clubhouse snacks in a moving truck and ship it off to Kissimmee, FL for Spring Training.

As you can see the truck is branded with Astros owner Jim Crane's company, Crane Cartage Freight Service.

Truck Day is equivalent of moving an army across four state lines. The team has to have the bats and equipment for 60-plus players and the corresponding number of coaches.

Not be forgotten is the baseball renewer.....what exactly that is I'm not sure.

Of course, Orbit is getting ready for Spring Training too.
