The Crawfish Boxes staff spent last week breaking down their top 30 Astros prospects. It's now the reader's turn to take a crack at the Astros prospects. Let's highlight some of the differences between the two lists:
- Over 100 readers filled out the prospect list.
- The average score for the top 50 prospects for the staff was 4.639 and the readers was 5.081 -- a 0.442 increase.
- TCB readers gave two A-, three B+, four B, and nine B- grades to Astros prospects, and the staff gave three B+ grades, five B, and two B- grades.
- Riley Ferrell, Jandel Gustave, Chris Devenski, James Hoyt, Nolan Fontana, and Brady Rodgers enter the top 30 list for the readers. Jason Martin, Brendan McCurry, Aaron West, Jamie Ritchie, Chase McDonald, Nestor Muriel, and Trent Thornton drop out of the top 30 prospects.
- Readers increased the number grades dramatically of Riley Ferrell (1.519), Brady Rodgers (1.232), Jandel Gustave (1.206), Matt Duffy (1.186), Chris Devenski (1.118), James Hoyt (1.055), and J.D. Davis (.928).
