Jose Altuve is always going a 100 percent on the baseball diamond. That is what earned him a contract with the Astros after the scouts initially sent him home for being “too small.” He never gives up and never stops getting his full effort. The MLB Players association and it’s players have taken notice.
Altuve earned the Majestic “Always Game” Award, which is given to the player who – game in and game out – constantly exhibits grit, tenacity, perseverance, and hustle; all for the benefit of his teammates and fans.

It's is the second year in a row that Altuve has won the award for “leaving it all on the field...every day.
It can be argued that Altuve has an advantage since he stands 5’5” and standouts out among the uber-athletes in the MLB. But it’s hard to argue against Altuve earning this award two years in a row after watching his entire career in Astros uniform.
