Thank you TCB readers for another great season

The season is over but our thanks is everlasting.

MLB: Texas Rangers at Houston Astros Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

The 2016 Astros season is over. The disappointment hasn’t yet fully sunk in. There was, of course, bright spots namely Alex Bregman, Joe Musgrove, Yulieski Gurriel, and Jose Altuve.

But that would be ignoring the most important part of The Crawfish Boxes, you the readers. It's your comradery, counterpoints, and the community that makes The Crawfish Boxes worth being a part of.

Second, I want to thank the wonderful writers at The Crawfish Boxes. The staff has kept the high standard at TCB while helping to cover up the shambles of my rubber-stamped stories. Words can not suffice on how thankful I am for y’all.

I would also like to thank the members of the media in the Houston area for their tireless efforts: Brian McTaggart, Jake Kaplan, Angel Verdejo Jr., Bill Brown, Alan Ashby, Geoff Blum, Robert Ford, Steve Sparks, Franciso Romero, Alex Trevino, Bart Enis, Kevin Eschenfelder, Art Howe, Mike Stanton, and last but not least Julia Morales.

Also the helpful Astros staff: media relations managers Steve Grande and Dena Propis, media relations coordinators Chris Peixoto and Jake Holtrop.

It will be an interesting offseason for the Astros heading into the 2017 season. TCB will be here every step of the way. Thank you again for being along for the ride.
