The 2016 Astros FanFest was held Saturday at Minute Maid Park. One of the key players missing was Carlos Correa. A contingent of the Houston Astros were in New York for the Baseball Writers' Association of America award ceremony.
Correa was receiving his 2015 American League Rookie of the Year award on Saturday, but the dinner was cancelled like many events on the eastern seaboard. The area is expected to get as much as 30 inches of snow by the time the blizzard is done blowing through.
The snow and the cancelled dinner didn't get the light-hearted Astros shortstop down. Correa took the time to take a swing at snowball and dive head first into a bank of snow.

I think we can all agree it would have been a home run in the backyard, right?
