Astros playoff tickets on sale to public Wednesday

It's getting real.

Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

It's getting real boys and girls. First, the Taylor Swift concert was moved. Now the Astros are selling tickets. Single game tickets will go on sale at tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. CT for potential, early-round Astros postseason home games will be available for all fans to purchase.

Tickets can be purchased online at, in person at the Minute Maid Park Box Office between the hours of 9am-5pm, or by phone at 1-877-9ASTROS.

Tickets will be available for the Astros first two potential American League Division Series (ALDS) home games, which would be Sunday, October 11 and Monday, October 12. If the Astros play in the ALDS, Games 3 and 4 would be at Minute Maid Park since their opponents are likely to be Toronto or Kansas City, both of whom have clinched home field for an ALDS matchup vs. Houston. There will be an eight ticket per game limit for all ALDS orders.

Astros tickets will also be available for a potential regular season Tiebreaker home game, which would be on Monday, October 5 or Tuesday, October 6 if played at Minute Maid Park.

Game times and opponents will be confirmed closer to the dates of each respective postseason and Tiebreaker game. In the event that a game is not necessary and therefore not played, all single-game purchases for that game will be automatically refunded to the credit card to which they were charged.
