Preview:

The Texans season starts today, but there is no reason to turn your attention away from the Astros. Houston is still sits in first place in the American League and have another solid starter on the mound. The only question is if the Astros offense can wake up.

The Astros only had five strikeouts last night, and three of those came from Jake Marisnick. Houston hit the ball hard just right at the Angels, who made some great plays last night. But the offense needs to pick it up.

Mike Fiers is 2-2 with a 2.93 ERA in his last seven appearances. He struck out 40 in his last 43 innings.

Andrew Heaney made his major league debut against the Astros, allowing one run over six inning on June 24. Heaney is 1-2 with a 5.35 ERA in his last seven games.
