Chihuahuas force game four with 6-4 win over the Grizzlies
Mark Appel struggled on the mound, giving up four runs over 4 1/3 innings. Chris Cotton, Jake Buchanan, and Luis Cruz combined for two scoreless innings in relief. Tony Temp and Alex Presley each had two hits during the game. Fresno will play game four at 4:05 PM CT, looking to close out the series. Round rock will be waiting as they swept Oklahoma City with 2-1 win on Friday.

The Hooks gave a run in the first six innings of Friday's game. Kyle Westwood gave up four runs (three earned) over 2 2/3 innings to start the game. Roberto Pena and Teoscar Hernandez each had a double in the game. Chan Moon knocked in two runs.

JetHawks eliminated from the playoffs after 12-5 loss to High Desert
James Ramsay did what he could to help out Lancaster, going 3-for-5 with an RBI. But High Desert put the screws to Akeem Bostick and Jordan Mills, each giving up five runs (four earned). The JetHawks got five doubles in the game, one from Alex Bregman, Derek Fisher, Ronnie Mitchell, Sean McMullen, and Mott Hyde. The Mavericks move on after taking two of three in the three-game series to face Rancho Cucamonga.
