Not everyone is Carlos Correa. Rookies have growing pains.
Preston Tucker has done wonderful things this season, he is currently in the top ten in home runs among rookies in all of baseball. But, he has struggled in the field at times and is currently batting .152 (7x46) with two home runs and two RBIs in the month of August.
Jake Marisnick's bat has come to life (.286, 1 home run, 2 RBIs in his last seven games), George Springer coming back soon, and the Astros roster in a crunch has lead to the promising rookie to be sent down to make room for Lance McCullers.
Tucker would still be eligible for the playoff roster and will be called up when rosters expand on Sept. 1.
McCullers will start Sunday for the Astros against Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers.
